Salaries and increments are paid to the teaching and non-teaching staff working for the Centre in accordance with well-defined rules. Dearness allowances are fixed and paid keeping in view the former's needs and the latter's possibilities. Singles among the staff are provided accommodation in bachelors' quarters with three meals a day from the kitchen. Likewise, members living with families are accommodated in family quarters. For all this, just ten percent of salaries is being currently deducted from their pay bills.
A regular provident fund scheme is also in place for the employees and staff members to ensure that they have adequate funds to see them through in their after-retirement life.
